U.S. News & World Report: Syosset HS Ranked No. 27 in NYS
Report ranks Syosset No. 27 in NYS and No. 160 in the nation.
Syosset High School was ranked one of the top high schools in New York State in the latest U.S. News and World Report Tuesday.
Syosset came in at No. 27 out of 1,165 high schools in New York State and No. 160 in the United States. Rankings compared details like Advanced Placement test scores, college readiness, and student to faculty ratios.
According to the report, Syosset High School students are 100 percent proficient in English and 99 percent proficient in math, based on college level courses, like AP and IB. Math and English scores were above the New York State average score. College readiness, based on AP scores, was ranked above the state average with a score of 63.9.
