Whiz Kid: Kelly Del Sorbo

Name: Kelly Del Sorbo

School: Sophomore at .

Accomplishment: Kelly is an Ambassador Girl Scout – She is working on her Girl Scout Gold Award (equivalent of Boy Scout Eagle Scout). Her project is called “Rocking through the Ages." 

She has created a “Senior” Girl Scout Troop at the Amber Court Assisted Living Facility in Westbury. There are about 40 members and Kelly has hosted several programs there including a Music Badge, History of Girl Scouts and Girl Scout Cookies.

Kelly is Hosting a “Girl Scout Uniform” Fashion Show on March 18, 6-7 pm at the Amber Court Facility (3400 Brushollow Road) and a “Read to Seniors” on March 25,  from 6-7 pm. She is also working on creating some facsimile “sashes” for the seniors at Syosset High School.

Kelly is the first girl in her group going for the gold award.
