Massapequa High School's Boys Soccer team (12-1-1) defeated Syosset (10-5-2) by the score of 2-1 to win the Conference AA Nassau County Championship Wednesday at Adelphi University.
Nicholas Bernhard scored twice to lead the Chiefs, including one goal in each half.
On their way to the county title, Massapequa beat Plainview JFK and Farmingdale. Prior to the loss Wednesday, Syosset topped Port Washington, MacArthur and Hicksville.
