The Syosset Braves boys basketball team hosts the Massapequa Chiefs Friday night at 6:15 p.m. in the Braves home finale.
At 1-8, Syosset has had a tough season after the move up to Conference AA-I. The Braves are coming off an 68-61 overtime loss to Oceanside Feb. 4.
Massapequa, on the other hand, is 7-5 and in the hunt. The third-place Chiefs are coming off a nail-biting 52-50 win against Oceanside on Feb. 8.

Though they are eliminated from playoff contention, according to coach Bobby Kopp. The Braves will honor four graduating seniors Friday night: co-captains Jake Fried and Jacob Luft, and Dan Capetta and Henry Kozlowski.
Be sure to head down to the gymnasium to lend your support to the boys in their final home game this season.
