Krumholz, of Smithtown, had reason for her optimism. She won three events in the Small Schools category. Krumholz took the 200 meters in 27.41 seconds, the 400 in 61.69 and ran a leg for OLMA’s winning 4 x 400 relay (4:31.16).

“My goal was to hit 61 [seconds] in the 400,” Krumholz explained. “And in the 200, I wanted to get 27 flat. I was a little off.”

Other OLMA winners: Meaghan Walsh in the 800 (2:33.48), Kami Saracino in the 1,500 (5:21.39), Caroline Grima in the high jump (4-8) and Debbie Johnson in the shot put (27-10).
