The boys lacrosse team was not supposed to be this good after graduating 17 seniors from a year ago. But the top-seeded , 14-8, Thursday for first place in Nassau Conference I.

There's still one month remaining in the regular season and no doubt both these teams will reach the playoffs. In terms of measuring sticks, Massapequa is better than expected.
