The Syosset fell to the No. 4 Baldwin Bruins Thursday 7-3 in the first round of the conference A-I playoffs.

The No. 5 seeded Braves were led by Brianna O'Shaughnessy, who scored one goal and added one assist. Danielle Enga and Tori Harrison also added one goal for the Braves, while Maria Tejera had an assist.

Baldwin was led by Allie Rodgers, who scored a game-high three goals in the win. Meg Gulmi stopped 11 shots in net for Syosset.

Baldwin faces No. 1 Farmingdale next on Thursday in the semifinals, while the Braves finish the season 6-9 overall, 2-5 in the conference.
