After defeating rival Massapequa on Oct. 25 to cap a 10-2-2 regular season with the Conference I title, the earned the No. 2 seed and will host No. 10 Great Neck South in the Nassau Class AA quarterfinals on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m..
"We've had a great season, the kids have been really focused," Braves Coach Brett Waxer said. "It was a reward for them to get the conference title, and now we're moving on to the playoffs, our next goal."
senior Eric Bold, who scored in the thrilling 1-0 win over Massapequa, his 13th goal of the season, will look to continue his consistency in the attacking third.

"We'll have a strong attack, and we'll look to do the same thing, we'll look to put the ball in the net," said Bold, who has committed to Binghamton University and hopes to further his career on the pitch.
Waxer said that the team will look to remain on the offensive against Great Neck South. The team , so serviving and advancing to the next round is what matters.
