Syosset Athletes Commit to Colleges

Fourteen student-athletes from Syosset High School have committed to play at a college or university next year.

Fourteen student-athletes from Syosset High School have committed to play at a 
college or university next year, continuing the school’s tradition of not only excelling in academics, but also providing its students with a diverse and well-rounded educational experience.

The following student-athletes have already committed to a school: golf player Willis Huynh will play for West Point; boys soccer player Doug Enga will play at Springfield College; softball players Valerie Moran and Danielle Zurek will play at Roger Williams University and Baruch College; Jacqueline Cuddy, Jeanette Gardner and Emily Rosen will play girls lacrosse at Hamilton College, Guilford College and George Washington University; boys tennis player Henry Tell will decide between University of Delaware or Ithaca College, while boys tennis player Mathew Bahar will choose between SUNY Oswego and SUNY Oneonta; Rhea Malhotra will likely play girls tennis at New York University; baseball players Brandon Haffer-Vivas and Alex Perry will play at Queens College and Sacred Heart University; Simon Nwan will be on the boys track team at SUNY Albany; and Liam Blohm will be heading to Ohio State to play lacrosse.
