Outlook: The Syosset girls swim team is moving on up. The squad will go from Conference II to Conference I this season. While the team has depth, it will also be a great test for Coach Rich Powell's unit. The jump will bring consistently competitive meets against the best swimmers and programs in the county. But the Braves appear to be ready for the challenge. The entire medley relay team is back, as well as three of the program's most experienced divers. Syosset will open its Conference I schedule next Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
