Syosset Native to Play at Islanders Mini-Camp

Ben Rosen has been invited to attend as workouts begin Wednesday.

Syosset resident Ben Rosen has been invited by the New York Islanders to attend their mini-camp this week.

The camp will feature some of the Islanders top prospects including a couple of top-ten draft picks, according to the Communications Department. The players will begin on-ice workouts on Wednesday, and the final day of mini-camp on July 16 will culminate with the Blue & White game at 7 p.m. which is open to the public.

Rosen appeared in 31 games for the Boston University Huskies as a sophomore last season, scoring three points (2 goals, 1 assist) and recording 22 penalty minutes.
