MY WATER SMELLS

I have never been afraid to drink tap water. Until now. I was at the kitchen sink getting a drink when I noticed the smell. I have always had a more sensitive nose than the average person. The water coming from my tap definitely smelled of chemicals, or metal or chlorine. Later I noticed the same smell in the shower, so I knew the kitchen tap was not the problem. Is the smell new? Or has following the "Clean" Program made me even more sensitive? It doesn’t matter. I don’t want to drink it, and I would prefer not to bathe in it. I was frightened by the realization that I have absolutely no idea what they do to or add to the water before it arrives at my home. But I have to assume the funky smell is caused by that process. I can’t help feeling we are doomed. Our water is undrinkable without the addition of chemicals that are likely to be just as bad for us in the long run. Our air quality is worsening by an alarming rate. And, in addition to the use of carcinogenic pesticides on most farms, our food supply is being taken over by profit-centric non-humanitarian corporations who are not required to tell us what they do to our food. Am I the only one who is panicking? I started following the "Clean" Program to get healthy, but it has opened my eyes, and nose, to how impossible it is to avoid toxins in our toxic world. Yet, I’ll keep doing the best I can.
