These are remarkable machines and harken back to another time. I highly recommend you take your kids. And the people the museum are great about explaining the warbirds in context of their times. I got chills when the B-17 "Flying Fortress" rolled up on the tarmac. We'd love to have your photos; you can upload them directly to this gallery.

We should always remember the sacrifices made by the men who flew in them, and all our military before and after. Just because one war was glorified or better accepted, doesn't diminish the courage and pain of those who fought, whenever they fought.
