The Art of Chinese Acrobatics
Monday at Syosset Library. 11 a.m. With Li Liu. During this one-woman acrobatic performance, Li presents hand balancing, plate spinning, artistic cycling, ribbon dancing, diabolos, foot juggling and Chinese water bowl manipulation. Recommended for Grades K-5. Registration begins Monday, September 30.

Town Board to Present Budget
The Oyster Bay town Board will hold a public hearing on the budget Tuesday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.

St. Edward the Confessor School's 14th Annual Golf Classic
Thursday at Brookville Country Club. Registration at 10:30 a.m. The largest fundraiser of the year for St. Edward the Confessor School in Syosset, NY.  The theme of the golf classic this year is "Celebrating our Journey with Father Thomas Fusco."  To purchase tickets, make a donation or place an ad, please contact:  John Rakoczy at (908) 482-4592 or golfwithsteds@verizon.net.

Thursday at North Shore Synagogue. 7 p.m. Maggie Anton, author of the award-winning historical fiction series Rashi’s Daughters and Rav Hisda’s Daughter will speak about her writing process and how she is inspired to bring history to life.
