Syosset BOE Special Meeting
Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. at Southwoods Middle School.

GAP Fall/Winter/Spring Registration
Monday, Syosset-Woodbury Community Center, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Zumba 
Monday, Syosset Library, 9:15 a.m.
With Carol Rodriguez.  This fitness class combines Latin and international music with dance for a fun and physically STRENUOUS exercise program.  Bring water, wear flat soled sneakers and wear exercise clothes.  Fee: $78.  Registration for SSD residents begins Monday, August 19.

Town Board Meets
Tuesday, Town Hall, 10 a.m.

Sukkot
Begins at sundown Wednesday

The Long Island Fair

At Old Bethpage Village Restoration, Friday through Sunday. Exotic animals, 
prize-winning livestock, pony and carnival rides, as well as traditional 
live music and contests for kids and adults. 

Medicare Enrollment Workshop
Tuesday, Syosset Library, 1:30 p.m. A representative from HIICAP (Health Insurance Information, Counseling and Assistance Program), a federally-funded program from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, will provide you with information, education and counseling about Medicare. Open enrollment for Medicare begins on Oct. 15 and ends on Dec. 7.

Teen Advisory Board
Thursday, Syosset Library, 7 p.m. Get involved @ your library.  No registration required.  In TeenSpace.  Refreshments will be served.

Rabies Clinic for Dogs, Cats, Ferrets
Saturday at Town animal shelter in Syosset, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
