Syosset High School Homecoming 

Spirit Week will lead up to Homecoming at Syosset High School this Saturday as the Braves face Hempstead at 3 p.m. The High School carnival will be held Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. The game will be broadcast on 88.5 FM.

Town Board Meeting
The Town of Oyster Bay Board will meet on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Town Hall. The agenda is available here.

3D Printing Class at Library
Presented by Alexander Santoro and Hamilton Fredericks. In this 2-part workshop, learn about the new and exciting field of desktop manufacturing and see how digital files become physical objects. Registration for SSD residents begins Monday, September 9. Wednesday, 4 p.m., Syosset Library.

The Constitution’s Image: History, Myth and Contemporary Relevance
Examine a historical context of the Constitution- its creation and evolution. View some key changes arising out of amendments, “strict interpretation” and cultural change. Join others in discussing the role of government in a 21st Century America. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Joseph Kenner who will also provide background information as needed. Thursday, 2 p.m., Syosset Library.

The Life and Works of Hieronymus Bosch
Join Ines Powell for this art lecture about Bosch, an early Netherlandish painter who is celebrated for his fantasy images that embody both religious and moral concepts. Among his most famous paintings isThe Garden of Earthly Delights. Friday, 2 p.m., Syosset Library.
