Syosset-Woodbury Park Ice Rink Opens Nov. 29

Outdoor TOBAY ice rink open for winter season day after Thanksgiving.

The Town of Oyster Bay's outdoor ice skating rink at Syosset-Woodbury Park will open for the winter season on on Nov. 29, the day after Thanksgiving. 

General admission for Oyster Bay Town residents for two-hour public skating sessions is $2.00 for ages two to four, $4.00 for ages five through 17, $5.00 for ages 18 and older, $2.00 for senior citizens 60 and older and $3.00 for Town veterans, volunteer firefighters and auxiliary police with identification.

For non-Town residents, the general admission is $3.00 for ages two to four, $7.00 for ages five to 17, $8.00 for ages 18 and older, $4.00 for seniors and $3.00 for veterans, volunteer firefighters and auxiliary police with identification.

Both Oyster Bay Town resident and non-Town resident children under two will be admitted free. Special discount books consisting of 10 tickets will be available. A discount book for ages five to 17 years will be $30.00 for Oyster Bay Town residents and $55.00 for non-Town residents. A book for ages 18 and older will be $35.00 for Oyster Bay Town residents and $65.00 for non-Town residents.

The skate shop will be open during all public sessions for renting skates at $4.00 per pair, per session. Discount books for skate rentals will be available for $35.00. Schedules for the Outdoor Rinks will be available at the outdoor rinks themselves, online at www.oysterbaytown.com and in the Parks Department at Town Hall South (977 Hicksville Road, Massapequa).
