Pop singer Taylor Dayne tops the musical lineup at this year's Long Island Fall Festival.

Coinciding with Columbus Day weekend, the festival brings tens of thousands of people to Huntington's Heckscher Park over four days.

While Dayne performs Sunday, plenty of other performances are scheduled, beginning Friday night with a battle of the bands, with the victor getting a chance to play at the Paramount.

In addition to scores of vendors, and the extensive musical series, the festival features a meatball eating contest, a carnival, petting zoos and lots and lots of  food. On Sunday, the annual Columbus Day parade will march on Main Street.

The carnival and food court run all four days; the vendors are on site through Sunday night.

In addition, Long Island Blood Services will host a blood drive on Saturday and Sunday.
