<p><strong>Our Mission Statement<br><br><em>Faith and Love <br>move us<br>to embrace the challenge<br>to be God's presence in the World</em></strong></p> <p>St. Bede's is the Episcopal Church for Syosset and the surrounding area.  Our parish cordially welcomes everyone who wishes to enrich their spiritual lives through the teachings of Jesus Christ.<br><br>St. Bede's is new, as churches in this part of the country measure age. The Parish was organized in 1953 and moved into its present building on Christmas Eve, 1955.<br><br>Our Parish House was opened at the beginning of 1963 with our Rectory added in 1967.<br><br>We are a small group, but welcome visitors and newcomers. We have many of the aspects of a country parish and you will find that our people are friendly and hospitable.<br><br>If you would like to learn more about our Church or have other questions, <br>please visit us at one of our services.
