Don't you have any journalistic standards? And I notice there is not even a mere mention of Toyota or the Prius. I'll assume they don't advertise on the Patch. I have a Toyota Prius and I love it. It gets 42 mpg around town and tops 50 mpg on highway. Whenever I talk to orher Prius owners (in gas stations, mostly), they rave about the car as much as I do. Finally, you don't address the main reason we must all embrace new technologies: there is a finite amount of oil and we need to find other energy sources, rather than engage in wars with oil-rich countries in which Cheney's Haliburton does business.
