Unfortunately, Hankin is extremely political and only does things for her cronies and with herRead More cronies. That's why Syosset's school taxes are so high and out of control. As to the voting machines, she will only do what is right to pass the budget. She tells the community nothing and operates with total secrecy. Nothing Hankin does is for the community. She has no idea what the word community and transparency mean. This is why she lives in Westchester and has a house in the Hamptons. She makes over $500,000 a year while Long Island's unemployment is out of control. She needs to retire and we need YOUNGER blood on the board.

Voting is from 6am to 10pm. It is very easy to avoid the crowds. There is plenty of parking all dayRead More long. The seniors gave plenty of time before curriculum night to vote. Whether you vote yes or no, everyone has the opportunity to vote when it is convenient for them. I enjoy voting during curriculum night even though I am not in the elementary school anymore. I enjoy seeing all the wonderful projects that the children have worked on all year. They are getting an amazing education here.

Yes, Rena, thankfully none of the children were reportedly harmed.

Just glad no one was injured or killed. He'll definitely learn an important lesson for the rest ofRead More his life. I don't know if other people who knowingly drink before getting behind the wheel will be deterred from similar behavior - I certainly hope so.
