Syosset Gospel Church was founded in 1957 by Paul F. Steffens, a 14th generation descendant of the reformer Dr.More Martin Luther (1486-1546). Its a nondenominational Christian church. Staying true to Luther's life's theme, '<i>the just shall live by faith</i>,' Pastor Steffens continued the four century long family heritage of preaching and teaching the Word of God only. From a strictly nondenominational presentation of Scripture truths, the parishioners receive an unbiased diet of spiritual milk and meat.</p> <p>Joining his father in 1976, Paul K. Steffens has filled the role of Associate Pastor. Together, both father and son endeavor to remain true and without compromise to the teachings of the Holy Bible.</p>

to be God'sMore presence in the World</em></strong></p> <p>St. Bede's is the Episcopal Church for Syosset and the surrounding area.  Our parish cordially welcomes everyone who wishes to enrich their spiritual lives through the teachings of Jesus Christ.<br><br>St. Bede's is new, as churches in this part of the country measure age. The Parish was organized in 1953 and moved into its present building on Christmas Eve, 1955.<br><br>Our Parish House was opened at the beginning of 1963 with our Rectory added in 1967.<br><br>We are a small group, but welcome visitors and newcomers. We have many of the aspects of a country parish and you will find that our people are friendly and hospitable.<br><br>If you would like to learn more about our Church or have other questions, <br>please visit us at one of our services.
