David Gordon is a graduate of Hofstra University with a bachelor's degree in print journalism.

A journalist and theater critic, his work has been seen online on Patch, Theatermania.com and NYTheatre.com, and in print in The Hofstra Chronicle (for which he served as, among other things, managing editor), The Queens Courier, The Queens Gazette, Newsday and The New York Times. He was an editor of Nassau News Live, a student-run hyperlocal journalism program based out of Hofstra's NewsHub.

As a theater practitioner, David has directed (Adam Bock's "The Receptionist," Hofstra University directing project), written (an original play for children called "Goldie!," produced by The Spectrum Players) and served as dramaturg (The Spectrum Players' production of Tony Kushner's "Angels in America: Millennium Approaches.") He has also acted (as Himself in the YouTube improv show "Student Loans for Beer Money," as Max in "The Sound of Music," Usdan Center; and as The Big Bad Wolf in "The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf," 3rd grade.)

Born and raised in Queens, David is attending Brooklyn College to attain a master's degree in theater history and criticism.
