JC Cherubini, Neighbor

Award-winning and well-traveled geographer, professional action sports photographer, photo-journalist, virtual tour developer and floorplan and GIS mapping systems cartographer. JC grew up on Long Island, NY in Glen Cove went to High School at St Mary's in Manhasset, NY and has a BA Degree in Geography and Political Science from CSU Chico and completed a certification program in Cartography studying geography, mapping and remote sensing at San Diego State University Geography Grad School. I have always cherished nature, the arts and sports; the exploration of our universe and and the use of science and technology to assist us in improving the community, our lives and the world on the whole.

JC  is a member of PPA and a Nikon Pro JC started  a freelance photo studio and design service Cherubini Design and Imaging Studios in 1997 and works full time as a Photographer and Virtual tour developer doing freelance photo-journalism assignments, real estate virtual tours, mapping  and floorplan projects weekdays and as a lead action sports photographer on the weekends. JC covers major US and International Marathons, Ironman events and Triathlons from NYRR races in Central Park to Honolulu, Maine to Austin, Disney to Seattle for two of the largest event photography companies in the world, Action Sports International and Brightroom Event Photography. JC teaches Photography and Nature studies each summer for the past 9 years to children ages 6-13 at www.challenge camps.com in Westchester, NY

When not working JC can be found with any of the folowing with Heide, freinds, family or 2 cats doing any one or more of the following while fiddling with his camera,  guitar, car,  bike or skis. JC will regularly be heard listening to Jeff Beck or the Beatles.
