16th annual holiday tradition set for Dec. 8

Kick off to the holiday season with performances by homegrown talent at the 16th annual Syosset Holiday Lighting Spectacular, sponsored by the Syosset-Woodbury Chamber of Commerce.

The spectacular will take place on Dec. 8 at Astoria Bank Plaza, 50 Jackson Ave. Festivities begin at 4 p.m., arrive at 3:30 p.m. for refreshments. Santa is expected to make a guest appearance so bring your Christmas list.

Performers include: Rosina Bellocco, Stephanie Cohen, Brooke Demetri, Sandy DurstMax Herman, Nicole Rampanelli, Dance Theatre Eclectic, North Shore
Performing Arts, and U Gotta Dance.

The Syosset Holiday Lighting Spectacular typically draws more than 500 community members, so be sure to arrive early to find a parking spot.  Dress warm, but
don’t let a little late-day chill keep you away.
