Jewelry Store Robbed at Gunpoint

Three men made off with cash from Syosset's Garco Jewelry Tuesday, cops said.

Cops are hunting three men who reportedly held up a Syosset jewelry store Tuesday evening, according to Nassau County Police.

A woman working at Garco Jewelry on Jericho Turnpike buzzed in the armed trio at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, cops said.

One of the men pointed a gun at the woman while another went into the back of the store and found a male employee, police reported.

After swiping an unknown amount of cash, all three men fled on foot and headed east on Jericho Turnpike.

The first man was described as wearing a gray flannel shirt and a baseball cap. The second wore a black shirt. The third wore a red polo baseball cap. All three men are described as being in their early 20s with thin builds.

No injuries were reported in the incident and there were no customers in the store during the holdup.
