Realtors Share the Love on Valentine's Day

First time, speedily formulated broker's open house jumpstarts the spring home sales season.

Almost 40 agents from Woodbury, Syosset and neighboring communities came together for the "Home is Where the Heart Is Tour" broker's open house Tuesday. Realtors from , , Lynda Baker Real Estate, Cerrone Realty and more came together in a first time effort in banding together to better the business.

"It was for the greater good of the business," said Laffey Fine Homes' Belinda Wiseman, who executed this last minute tour over the span of a week. Despite the short time span of planning, Laffey and fellow agents believed it was an immense success.

For this first unprecedented open house, champagne, chocolates and strawberries were served in honor of Valentine's Day. Agents who attended the total six open houses on the tour were entered to win a $300 cash prize.

The realtors foresee many more broker's open houses like this in the future.

"There's Memorial Day, Fourth of July…so many more opportunities to do this again," said MaryAnn Ianello Clará of Laffey Fine Homes.
