Chipotle Hits Snag with State Requirements

Eatery's opening postponed until they can comply with state road regulations.

Chipotle Mexican Grill's opening has been delayed yet again as the franchise works to comply with state laws, Town officials said Thursday.

According to Town of Oyster Bay's Department of Planning and Development, Chipotle has installed curb cuts and sidewalks on their property as they complete the new parking lot. Since Jericho Turnpike is a state road, they said, the eatery is working to ensure their groundwork complies with all state laws.
