Happy Thanksgiving: What's Open, Closed in Syosset

Many retailers and some restaurants here and nearby are open today; some on reduced hours.

Happy Thanksgiving, Syosset!

Here is a rundown of open places in Syosset Thursday:

  • Federal, state, and government offices will be closed Thursday, including banks and post offices. There will be no postal service Thursday.
  • LIRR is operating on a holiday schedule. Off peak fares and family fares will be valid through Sunday. Extra cars and trains will be added for the holiday. Check your trains on the MTA website here.
  • CVS will be open 24 hours Thursday.
  • King Kullen and Stop and Shop in Woodbury will be open until 3 p.m.
  • On Parade Diner will be open until 3 p.m.
