TD Bank Picks Up Pizza Tab

Free meals offered to residents to promote new Syosset branch.

Residents on their Friday night runs got a treat when TD, the TD Bank mascot, paid for their meal. TD Bank got acquainted with the neighborhood this week to promote their brand new branch in Syosset. The bank will open Saturday on Jericho Turnpike.

The Syosset branch will open Saturday with a large ribbon and cake cutting at 12:30 p.m. The cake will be provided by the famed Carlo's Bakery of Hoboken, site of the hit TLC show "Cake Boss." Islanders mascot Sparkey and will also make appearances at the party. All residents are invited to the party and can bring pets.

The Syosset branch is particularly special because it is TD's 1,300th branch on the east coast and the 54th on Long Island.

“Opening our 1,300 store is a tremendous milestone for TD Bank," said Chris Giamo, Regional President of TD Bank’s Metro New York market. "And it is fitting that we open these stores on Long Island, because it’s a good place to do business and build relationships – investing in Long Island means Long Island invests in you.”

  • Mon-Wed: 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Thurs-Fri: 8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Sat: 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Sun: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Drive-thru:

  • Mon-Fri: 7:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Sat: 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Sun: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
