What other study facilities are useable as finals approach?
Syosset Library announced that the facility may be closing early in the coming weeks as they await a specially made air conditioner to replace a damaged one.
Several times in the past weeks, the library has announced they would close their doors -- sometimes as early as 1 p.m. -- as temperatures rise beyond a safe level.
The specially made commercial "chiller" is due to arrive and be installed at the end of June or early July.
As finals approach, where will you go to study or send your students to study for exams? What other places exist in Syosset and Woodbury that you have had to utilize as quiet study places for students? How have you changed your schedule to fit in with any possible closures at the library?
