1. It's Election Day! Make sure you get out and vote. Be sure to check out our Election Guide and get educated before you head to the polls. Also check up on your polling place and make sure you head to the right location to cast your vote.

3. Syosset School District, Our Lady of Mercy Academy, and St. Edward the Confessor School are all finally back in session. Some schools have made special arrangements this week. Check them out here.
4. The Syosset Board of Education held a standing room only meeting Monday night and talked about trying to get back to normal post-Sandy. Read the meeting rundown later today on Patch.
