This week's shelter animal is Max, a German Shepherd mix who has lived at the shelter since January. Max is in his golden years but still has a lot of living to do. He loves attention and prefers chilling out to playing fetch. The shelter believes he would do well in any home. Max is neutered, house trained, and up to date on routine shots.
Come meet Popeye and his friends at the TOBAY Animal Shelter in Syosset. The shelter is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
