Fire Department Blood Drive for Injured FDNY Firefighter

The will be hosting a blood drive on Tues., Jan. 31, that will contribute to the recovery of Robert Wiedmann, an FDNY firefighter who was recently injured in a Brooklyn blaze. Robert’s parents, Irene and Bob Wiedmann will both be attending the event at 2 p.m.

While all donations are encouraged, anyone who gives Type O-negative blood will contribute directly to Firefighter Wiedmann’s recovery. The drive is being sponsored by , a Syosset-based financial investments company.
