Cops: 4 Cars Stolen, 3 Vandalized Nearby

Police report four cars, including one in Syosset, stolen in the Second Precinct.

Four cars, including one in Syosset, were reported stolen, cops said.

Nassau County Police reported the thefts of cars in Syosset, Plainview, and Hicksville.

In Syosset, a Dodge Caravan was reported stolen from Nissan Legend car dealership.

Also reported in the area were three instances of car vandalism. Victims reported finding their cars damaged, scratched, and even egged. 

The Second Precinct reported the following stolen vehicles: 

  • April 2: Nissan Legend, Syosset; Dodge Caravan stolen.
  • April 13: McDonald's, Plainview; Mercedes reported stolen from 8-11 p.m.
  • April 14: Carousel Day School, Hicksville; school bus reported stolen from 11-11:35 a.m.
  • April 16: 4th Street, Hicksville; two ATVs stolen between 11:30 p.m. April 15 and 8:30 a.m. April 16. 
The Second Precinct also reported the following acts of criminal mischief:
  • April 13: Fulton Street, Farmingdale; window damaged on car.
  • April 13: Fairway Supermarket, Plainview; doors and fender on car scratched.
  • April 14: Fulton Street, Farmingdale; car egged.
