Cops: Car Windows Broken at Milleridge Inn

Police report several instances in and around Syosset of broken car windows and stolen license plates in one week.

Several incidences of license plate thefts and broken car windows were reported in the Syosset area last week.

Nassau County Police reported three instances of license plates being stolen from cars in Hicksville, Woodbury, and Plainview. Five reports were filed of car windows being broken, with three separate instances occurring minutes apart at The Milleridge Inn.

The Second Precinct reported the following crimes:

  • Nov. 29: Petit larceny; American Cleaners, Hicksville; license plate stolen from car.
  • Nov. 30: Criminal mischief; Pierce Street, Hicksville; window on car broken.
  • Nov. 30: Petit larceny; 14th Street, Hicksville; iPod, pair of sunglasses stolen from car.
  • Dec. 1: Petit larceny; Dee Lane, Woodbury; license plate stolen fron car.
  • Dec. 1: Petit larceny; Woodbury Road and Oyster Bay Road, Plainview; license plate stolen from car.
  • Dec. 1: Petit larceny; Valley Road, Hicksville; GPS stolen from car.
  • Dec. 2: Grand larceny; Cocks Lane, Locust Valley; car stolen.
  • Dec. 3: Grand larceny; Carson Drive, Bethpage; car stolen.
  • Dec. 3: Criminal mischief; Amber Lane, Levittown; window broken on car
  • Dec. 4, 3 p.m.: Criminal mischief; Milleridge Inn, Jericho; window broken on car.
  • Dec. 4, 3 p.m.: Criminal mischief; Milleridge Inn, Jericho; window broken on car.
  • Dec. 4, 3:15 p.m.: Criminal mischief; Milleridge Inn, Jericho; window broken on car.
