Cops: Windows Broken, Cars Keyed in Woodbury

Hicksville, Woodbury, Levittown targeted in car vandalism.

10 cars were vandalized within one week in the Oyster Bay area, reported Nassau County Police. 

Broken windows, keyed cars, and tire slashings were reported in Hicksville, Woodbury, and Levittown, according to Second Precinct detectives. 

In Woodbury, two separate reports came in about Pheasant Lane cars being keyed and damage to an antenna and windshield May 15.

In nearby Hicksville, six different incidents were reported with some being on the same street, cops said. Incidents ranged from a broken windshield on a car in a Town of Oyster Bay lot to four different reports of tire slashing. 

The Second Precinct reported the following incidents: 

  • May 15: Criminal mischief; Pheasant Lane, Woodbury; antenna broken, damage to windshield. 
  • May 15: Criminal mischief; Pheasant Lane, Woodbury; two cars keyed. 
  • May 15: Criminal mischief; Town of Oyster Bay lot H19, Hicksville; windshield broken on car. 
  • May 16: Criminal mischief; West Nicholai Street, Hicksville; window damaged by BB gun. 
  • May 19: Criminal mischief; Twin Lawns Avenue, Hicksville; car tires slashed. 
  • May 19: Criminal mischief; Bridle Avenue, Hicksville; car tires slashed. 
  • May 21: Criminal mischief; West Nicholai Street, Hicksville; car tires slashes. 
  • May 19: Criminal mischief; Bridle Avenue, Hicksville; car tires slashed. 
  • May 21: Criminal mischief; West Nicholai Street, Hicksville; car window broken. 
  • May 21: Criminal mischief; Bucket Lane, Levittown; car window broken.
