Police have charged a Manhattan woman after a prostitution sting in Woodbury.
Narcotics/Vice detectives said the incident took place at the Best Western Motel in Woodbury Thursday at about 9:50 p.m.
As police conducted the investigation, Diana Espinal, 40, of Manhattan, allegedly offered to perform a sexual act on an undercover detective for an undisclosed amount of money, cops said.
Espinal was arrested and charged without incident at the scene. She is charged with prostitution and will appear at First District Court April 5.
Espinal's charges came less than two hours after another reported prostitution investigation in Hicksville.
According to police, Precious Griffin, 29, also of Manhattan, was charged at 8:10 p.m. at the Days Inn Motel after offering to perform sexual acts on a cop for money. Griffin was charged with prostitution and will be arraigned Friday.
