5 Things: Catholic Schools Week

Five things you should know about Catholic Schools Week.

 

1. This year's CSW theme, "Catholic Schools: Faith. Academics. Service," was chosen to focus on the "three priorities that Catholic schools establish that make them stand our from other educational institutions," according to the National Catholic Educational Association.

Mon.: Middle School Sports Night at 6:30 p.m.
Tues.: Student Appreciation Day and 50th Birthday celebration
Wed.: 9:30-11:30 open house
Thurs.: Grades K-8 assembly
Fri.: Teacher Appreciation Day

3. St. Edward's survived the reorganization of Catholic schools in the Rockville Centre Diocese. Good thing because current and former students and faculty will be !

4. celebrates the week, welcoming new students into the school. Incoming freshman registration at OLMA is on Feb. 1 (5-8 p.m.) and 2 (10 a.m.-3 p.m.).
