Connor's Army Begins the Advance to Sunrise
Photo of the Day: Syosset High School teacher Gene Connor began his cross country journey Sunday.
Syosset High School drama teacher Gene Connor Sunday to raise awareness and funds for children with cancer who attend Sunrise Day Camp. The 45-day journey of 3,700 miles across the country, ending at Sunrise Day Camp, will require Connor to trek 60 to 110 miles per day with , daugher and two sons driving alongside him.
